the location was excellent. the breakfast had a large selection of food available (i especially liked the pastries). the room included a king-size bed, a separate seating area, and a work desk.
the gym only had limited equipment.

great location dining facilities air conditioning noisy streets
the hotel is in a great LOCATION. it offers great dining facilities. the breakfast, i found delicious.
sadly the air-conditioning DIDNT work. it doesn't work for entire building 1. the streets especially on friday and saturday are very noisy MAKING sleep difficult. it's true for other hotels in the area as well, since the hotel is situated in a dense area of town.

the hotel's location is quite central. it made getting around relatively easy.
The hotel felt dated and in need of investment. breakfast was just okay. This place is not a five-star hotel. it felt more like a three-star experience at a high price point.

convenient location easy access amazing staff heating source lukewarm state tv channels
The location is very convenient with easy access to Taxis. The hotel is near Taksim Street and Galata Tower. The staff IS amazing. The rooftop restaurant brought morning peace with views overlooking the Golden Horn.
The room's heating source did NOT operate correctly. I struggled to warm the room adequately. The shower water only reached a lukewarm state. Some tv channels were not working. I hope the team addresses these points.

The breakfast buffet had a gorgeous setting. The food seemed tasty.
The hotel charged for coffee capsules used in the room. This felt cheap. I was not read the small print. I was also charged 38 euros for 7 capsules.

kind staff clean room long check-in debit card
the staff was very kind (lale from customer service specifically) and asked about my stay every day. the room was very clean.
the check-in process took a frustrating 30 minutes. i only had a debit card, so i couldn't pay the required deposit. it reminded me of a lack of trust and made a wrong first impression.
